A year ago September I had really bad back pain, so I was referred to Dr. Trevor Born for a breast reduction. He explained the procedure to me, I was a little nervous but Dr. Born made me feel totally comfortable. Shortly after, I had the surgery done, I was very excited. This surgery changed my life for the better! Dr. Born was always there for my questions, which I appreciated! I have recommended people to Dr. Born. His incredible staff has helped me through the pain & questions that I have had.

I have had several procedures done by Dr. Born and each time I've felt that I was getting particularly individual treatment. I appreciate his careful approach that has emphasized very natural improvements suited to my own appearance. Dr. Born and his staff are friendly and accessible, always willing to discuss the procedures. When I stayed overnight after surgery, I was treated with special kindness combined with watchful nursing. The follow-up care is very supportive and a lot of attention is paid to the healing process. And the best thing is that I'm happy with the way I look.

I am a former model, psychotherapist and now owner of the famous luxury cottages Elizabeth J. Cottages in Newfoundland and Labrador. Looking my best has always been important to me so that when I look in the mirror I love who I see looking back.

I believed in having a face-lift at the appropriate time and did so over 12 years ago. I have been a client of Dr. Born for many years now. I go to Dr. Born for Botox injections to ease the exaggerated lines on my face.

However, there is a point when one realizes the jowls are drooping, as is the chicken skin hanging from my thin neck. I saw a brochure about a new treatment called Thermage in Dr. Born’s office and asked him about this non-surgical treatment. I decided to have the Thermage treatment done unsure how effective it would be.

I returned to Bonavista NL where I live. Within the week I was surprised to see that I looked different, younger, fresher and my skin was velvety.  At first I thought I was imagining this and after another few days I saw my neck’s chicken skin start to disappear.

It has been 5 months now and I look like I just had a full face-lift. I am thrilled and very excited to successfully continue my resistance to aging. When I look in the mirror at my face I see a young vibrant women looking back – a true reflection of how I feel about myself and how I live my life. Always an explorer for new ways to be, to experience life and to always be the best I can be.

Thermage Treatment works for me still. I recommend it to anyone who wishes to look like how they feel inside and to allow him or her the pleasure of knowing who is looking back at them in the mirror. Friend or aging stranger?

5 months ago I was introduced to the Clarisonic machine.
